Reformation Concert

A reformation concert benefiting Canadian Lutheran World Relief will take place December 9, 2017 at Salle Claude Champagne, the concert hall of the Université de Montréal. The concert will feature works from Lutheran and Roman Catholic traditions in justaposition: Mendelssohn’s “Reformation Symphony” (by a Lutheran composer) paired with Messiaen’s “Et exspecto resurrectionem mortuorum” (by a Roman Catholic composer).
The concert will feature the Orchestra of l’Université de Montréal under the baton of Maestro Kent Nagano.
A start-time for the concert has not yet been announced.
